Manufacturing Associate - 2nd Shift
Location: Tucson, AZ 85755
Pay rate: $19.00 - $19.89/hr
Work schedule: 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
The Associate Manufacturing Associate will join the Dispenser Build team to execute critical production workflows in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Operating within a highly regulated environment, this role ensures superior quality control across assembly lines, maintains specialized production equipment, and upholds standard Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This is an entry-level position that offers foundational training and growth within the diagnostics and pharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities
Production Processing: Execute daily manufacturing and dispenser assembly tasks according to established SOPs.
Quality Assurance: Uphold rigid quality control benchmarks throughout active production workflows to ensure product integrity.
Equipment Maintenance: Safely operate, monitor, and conduct basic maintenance on localized manufacturing machinery and assembly tools.
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain continuous alignment with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), facility safety protocols, and waste-reduction initiatives.
Process Improvement: Assist senior technicians in basic troubleshooting and identify potential areas for process and efficiency improvements on the line.
Must Have Skills / Requirements
Environment Experience: Previous experience working within a structured manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
Core Competencies: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high attention to structural detail.
Industry Standards: Functional awareness of industry best practices regarding safety and line discipline.
Physical Demands: Physical capability to safely lift and maneuver up to 30 lbs as required by assembly logistics.
Preferred Qualifications
Direct prior experience in diagnostics or pharmaceutical manufacturing is highly advantageous.
Education & Experience
Experience: 0–5 years of applicable experience in a production setting.
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
