Shift: Monday to Thursday 06:00 AM 04:30 PM

Summary:

The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for assembling parts and sub-assemblies according to engineering specifications and company quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with various tools and components, and adherence to safety and quality procedures. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow structured assembly processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Select components, align, and assemble them in the correct sequence using drilling, riveting, screwing, bolting, bracing, taping, cementing, or soldering as per specifications
  • Choose appropriate sub-assemblies or component parts and install them according to the defined Sequence of Events (SOE)
  • Apply wiring harnesses, sensors, and electrical components as per SOE, ensuring correct color coding and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams accurately
  • Utilize a variety of hand tools and equipment such as drills, rivet guns, saws, hi-pot testers, and drill presses
  • Inspect parts during sub-assembly and at critical checkpoints to ensure compliance with quality standards before moving to the next stage
  • Verify that custom equipment modifications are completed as per order requirements and Smart Part Numbers
  • Clean and package final products using approved chemicals while adhering to MSDS guidelines and proper PPE usage
  • Move units or position components manually or with the help of equipment like casters, cranes, or forklifts
  • Support production operations by performing additional tasks as assigned and participating in cross-training activities
  • Reorder raw materials and finished parts using the Kanban inventory system and maintain accurate inventory in Supermarket racks
