Job Description
We are seeking a Manufacturing Associate to join our team in a cellular therapeutic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in regulated cGMP operations, cleanroom practices, and electronic manufacturing systems with a proven ability to execute production assignments accurately, on time, and in compliance with SOPs and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine manufacturing activities per approved procedures and recognize deviations.
- Adhere to cGMP, SOPs, and cleanroom requirements while maintaining documentation accuracy.
- Weigh and verify raw materials, assemble, clean, and sanitize process equipment, and monitor processes.
- Complete electronic work instructions and batch records to meet regulatory standards.
- Train toward proficiency on primary production equipment within the assigned area.
- Develop proficiency in process systems such as Syncade MES and Oracle interfaces; learn supporting systems including Oracle, ETQ, and BMRAM.
- Assist with drafting and revising SOPs and electronic work instructions.
- Support inventory control for materials and components.
- Promote a safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
- Collaborate in paired work settings and across manufacturing teams to share batch status and resolve issues.
- Exercise judgment in solving routine problems and provide recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 0-2 years of cGMP manufacturing experience or relevant education/work experience.
- Ability to follow written procedures and escalate issues appropriately.
- Proficiency with common computer tools, including word processing, spreadsheets, and web applications.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills; works effectively in paired operations.
Preferred Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences.
- Experience in regulatory-controlled environments, biotech, or clinical lab settings.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
Work Schedule & Logistics:
- Onsite: 100% at Bothell, WA (Juno, 217th Place SE).
- Shift: Sunday through alternating Wednesday, 11:00 - 23:30.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Work in a cleanroom and perform aseptic processing with required PPE, including safety shoes, safety glasses, aprons, face shields, PAPR, lab coats, full body gowns, hairnets, gloves, and hearing protection.
- Lift and carry up to 30 pounds / 15 kg several times daily.
- Push and pull up to 50 pounds / 25 kg several times daily.
