Johnson Service Group is looking for a manufacturing associate for our client in Bothell, Washington. This person will support operations within our cGMP clinical manufacturing facility producing plasmids, viral vectors, and autologous cell therapies. This role is responsible for executing day-to-day manufacturing activities while ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), safety standards, and company procedures. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and a strong commitment to quality, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute manufacturing processes according to SOPs, batch records, and cGMP requirements.
  • Complete GMP documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintain cleanroom facilities, equipment, and work areas.
  • Perform equipment maintenance, calibration, and cleaning activities.
  • Support inventory management and material handling.
  • Escalate manufacturing or quality issues as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
  • Minimum 2 years of GMP biopharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with cell therapy, cell culture, microbial fermentation, or viral vector manufacturing preferred.
  • Familiarity with quality systems including Deviations, CAPAs, and Change Controls.
  • Experience with MES, ERP, or similar manufacturing systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.

Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to work in cleanroom environments and wear required gowning.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
35/hr. contract
