Job Title - Manufacturing Associate - Representative
Duration 12-18 months
Location: Cedar Creek, TX 78612
Schedule 1 st shift start time typically 8am - 9am, Mon-Fri

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform plasmid and DNA purifications and perform DNA quantification using nanodrop spectrophotometer.
  • Manufacture and test complex master mixes and bulks used in RT-PCR and QPCR kits.
  • Manufacture and test microarray reagents used in genomic DNA labeling kits and hybridization kits.
  • Analyze quantitative data and report results accurately.
  • Actively assist in the execution of manufacturing process validations for new processes, products, and regulatory level validations.
  • Actively assist with the introduction of new products and the exploration of new technologies for the improvement of product quality.
  • Assist other teams in the production and testing of products as required and other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain stocks of raw materials required for manufacturing and quality control testing.
  • Maintaining a work environment based on 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Other duties include the writing, maintenance and reviewing of ISO-compliant Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.

This is a full-time- contract opportunity.

The Ideal Candidate will have:
  • BS/BA degree in biological science or related field and two to four years of previous experience in chemistry, molecular biology, and/or biochemistry.
  • Hands on working knowledge of standard laboratory techniques of molecular biology is required, including plasmid purifications, PCR and QPCR.
Experience with NGS or microarray testing is a plus.
