Manufacturing Associate (Entry)

Responsibilities:

• Candidates for this role will be utilizing casts or molds, that have been fabricated out of metal or harden plastic to shape plastic material to given parameters
• This role will involve pouring epoxy and resin mixtures into molds and putting inserts in various places to conform the shape of soft plastic material
• Will be responsible for putting in vacuum chambers to remove remaining air
• The casting technician will be de-molding, meaning they are pulling the congealed plastic form shapes out from the mold itself using hand tools, air guns, putty scrapers etc.
• Grinding and belt sanding contoured area for smoothness
• Must have great attention to detail and hand and eye coordination
• Looking for candidates with prior manufacturing experience but not required
