Manufacturing Associate (Grinding Department)
Location: Shelton, CT
Pay: $18$19/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday Day Shift 5:30am 4:00pm
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Grinding Department Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Shelton, CT. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic manufacturing experience who is looking to build skills and grow within a company.
This role does not require advanced technical skills, but accuracy, consistency, and a strong work ethic are essential. The right candidate will have the opportunity to be trained on additional processes and take on more responsibility over time.
Responsibilities:
- Operate grinding equipment to finish parts to required specifications
- Inspect parts for accuracy and quality
- Follow work instructions and production standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support other departments as needed
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
- Willingness to learn and be trained on new processes
