Manufacturing Associate

About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: Manufacturing Associate
• Pay Rate: $21.00/hr
• Location: Lester Prairie, MN
• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM
• Overtime Required: Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM.
• Position Type: Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively for 8-10 hours a day.
• Ability to frequent standing/walking /stooping/turning while carrying materials.
• Ability to operate a forklift is preferred.
• 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure required.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to operate a computer is a plus.
• Must be a team player.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assemble Trusses and Gables using hammer and tape measure.
• Operate Radial Arm Saw.
• Manually stack wood as it comes off the machine.
• Assist with finger joiner-tape measure and stack.
• Properly package and handle incoming/outgoing orders.
• Responsible for performing daily cycle counts of various types of inventory.
• Tracking past due backorders verses incoming material.
• Unload material and handle material from truck with forklift as needed and required.
• Work in other areas of the plant as business allows.
• Keeping area clean.
• Other duties as assigned.
