Job Title: Manufacturing Associate Level 1
Location: 8830 Biggs Ford Road, Walkersville, MD 21793
Shift: Monday – Thursday | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
*Must arrive by 6:30 AM for the daily team briefing. Occasional early arrival and overtime may be required with advance notice.
Pay: $16.95 - $18.00/hour; Weekly Pay + Benefits (Medical, Vision & Dental)
Contract: 12 Months (Potential for Extension or Conversion)
Job Summary
- We are seeking a Manufacturing Associate Level 1 to support production in a GMP-regulated cleanroom manufacturing environment.
- This role involves aseptic liquid filling, operating production equipment, maintaining documentation, and following strict quality and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aseptic processing in a cleanroom environment
- Fill bottles and bags manually and operate automated filling/capping equipment
- Set up, operate, clean, and maintain production equipment
- Complete GMP documentation and batch records accurately
- Prepare materials for production and autoclaving
- Perform cleaning, sanitization, and environmental monitoring
- Transfer and stage production materials
- Support formulation, filling, and packaging activities
- Maintain inventory and an organized work area
- Assist with investigations by documenting production deviations
- Follow all SOPs, GMP, quality, and safety requirements
- Work overtime as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 0–4 years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Manufacturing or technical aptitude required
- Ability to work in a GMP or regulated manufacturing environment
- Basic math and documentation skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment
- Cleanroom manufacturing environment
- Aseptic gowning required
- Fast-paced production setting
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements
