What we're looking for in a Manufacturing Associate

As a Manufacturing Associate at TLG, you will be responsible for performing various tasks in the manufacturing process, including operating equipment, assembling products, conducting quality checks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to work as part of a team will ensure the production of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Production Operations
  2. • Operating manufacturing equipment and machinery according to standard operating procedures.
  3. • Assembling products, conducting inspections, and ensuring that all products meet quality standards.
  4. • Monitoring equipment performance and reporting any malfunctions to supervisors.
  5. • Produce and prepare bulk product batches following established formulations.
  6. • Accurately measure and portion product for precise formulation.
  7. • Perform general preparation tasks, including organizing materials and maintaining a clean workspace.
  8. • Dispose of trash, empty boxes, and used work materials properly, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  1. Quality Control
  2. • Conducting quality checks on products at various stages of the manufacturing process.
  3. • Identifying defects or inconsistencies and reporting them to the Manufacturing Lead or Supervisor.
  4. • Following established quality control procedures and maintainingaccurate records.
  1. Safety and Compliance
  2. • Adhering to all safety guidelines, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and following safety protocols.
  3. • Participating in safety training and reporting any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
  4. • Ensuring that all products are manufactured in compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
  1. Inventory Management and Material Handling
  2. • Managing raw materials and supplies, ensuring they are properly stored and used efficiently.
  3. • Assisting with inventory checks, reporting any discrepancies to supervisors.
  4. • Properly handling and disposing of waste materials according to company procedures.
  1. Collaboration and Teamwork
  2. • Working closely with other team members to ensure efficient production flow.
  3. • Communicating any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.
  4. • Assisting with training new team members as needed.
  1. Documentation and Reporting
  2. • Maintainingaccurate production records, including quantities produced, quality checks, and any equipment issues.
  3. • Completing all required production logs and submitting them to supervisors as needed.
  4. • Reporting any production delays, quality concerns, or equipment issues to the appropriate personnel.

    Schedule:
    • 4/10 work schedule

Qualifications

  • MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE 
  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, or a similar environment. 
  • Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and safety procedures. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. 
  • Good communication and teamwork skills. 
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
