Compensation: $28.00 base with shift differential
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: Shift is alternating Saturdays, Sunday-Tuesday (6pm to 7am)

Overview
Leading biotechnology company looking for an experienced Manufacturing Associate. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, or Associates degree in science or Biotech certificate with 2+ years of biotech manufacturing or regulated industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand and operate biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, including mammalian cell culture, depth filtration, tangential flow filtration, column chromatography, centrifugation, protein purification, and formulation of bulk drug substance.
• Support process optimization initiatives by identifying and elevating processing issues and assisting with solutions.
• Gain experience with automation systems such as LIMS, MES, PI, etc.
• Contribute to the review and improvement of operational procedures by providing feedback and suggested changes.
• Assist in integrating new technologies, practices, and standards into existing procedures.
• Write and review process documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to cGMP regulations and utilize quality systems, including Deviations, CAPAs, Change Requests, and Action/Alert Reports.
• Participate in projects and contribute to departmental outcomes; support the learning and application of new business systems like Trackwise and ERP.
• Support trending and analysis of key department metrics.
• Perform strenuous and repetitive tasks involving physical movements such as bending, reaching, climbing stairs/ladders, kneeling, and making equipment connections.
• Regularly lift, dispense, push, or pull items averaging 25 pounds.
• Work in environments involving loud equipment and use personal protective equipment as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, or Associates degree in science or Biotech certificate with 2+ years of biotech manufacturing or regulated industry experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, demonstrating good conflict resolution and collaboration skills.
• Proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
