Description
Job Summary:
The Upstream Manufacturing Technician supports biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations by performing media preparation, inoculum preparation, sampling, and other production activities. This role requires working in a GMP manufacturing environment while following safety and quality procedures. Responsibilities:
Perform media preparation, inoculum preparation, and sampling activities.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GMP guidelines.
Complete production documentation accurately.
Operate and clean manufacturing equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Work effectively with the manufacturing team to meet production goals.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related field is preferred.
0 2 years of manufacturing, laboratory, or pharmaceutical/biotech experience preferred.
Required Skills:
Ability to follow written procedures and instructions.
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work in a GMP/cleanroom environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to wear cleanroom gowning/PPE.
Stand for extended periods during a 12-hour shift.
