Machine Operator
Rochester, NY 14626
Payrate: 20.00-21.75/hr
6+ month contract

Schedule Firemen’s Rotation
  • 2 Day Shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • 2 Night Shifts: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • 4 Days On / 3 Days Off
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform basic machine operation with guidance from an experienced operator.
  • Make basic machine adjustments when needed.
  • Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
  • Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety policies.
  • Communicate and collaborate with team members and supervisors.
  • Assist coworkers to help meet production goals.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 6+ months manufacturing experience.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment (SOPs, cGMP, audits).
  • Ability to perform basic machine adjustments.
  • Basic computer skills (email, internet, MS Word).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable with a positive attitude.

Work Environment
  • Manufacturing or laboratory setting.
  • May involve handling biological materials or chemicals.
  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods (up to 75% of shift).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
