JOB SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for correctly and efficiently filling products which include shampoos, conditioners, spray colognes, and topical ointments and creams.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Work on the production line ensuring product meets our quality standards
Record production onto production batch sheets
Clean equipment, totes, drums, and tanks after production runs
Trouble-shoot equipment when it breaks down
Work with chemicals, both hazardous and non-hazardous
Continually maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Move equipment, including tanks, totes, pallets, and boxes
Proactively be able to step in to support other team members as needed
Support the team when packing out finished or semi-finished goods
Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
Ensures that finished products meets quality expectations
Follow all safety procedures
Perform a variety of tasks that require manual material handling and the use of box cutters, machinery, and equipment while processing and packaging products.
Safe operation of equipment including forklifts, drum handling equipment and bottle fillers.
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS
Forklift experience a plus
Must have good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and great attention to detail
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high volume production environment
Ability to multi-task
Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50 pounds
Excellent communication and organization skills
Detail orientated
HOURS: Monday-Thursday 6:00AM - 4:30PM, no weekends.
