Manufacturing Associate (All Shifts)Pay: $28–$35/hour
Location: Near Stockbridge, MA
About the Role
Our client is looking for a
Manufacturing Associate to perform production operations across assigned areas of the facility. This role supports start-up, changeovers, technology transfer, and routine manufacturing activities, working within a GMP-regulated production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate process equipment such as tanks, clean-in-place skids (CIP/SIP), agitators, filtration devices, autoclaves, glass washers, integrity testing equipment, and other small equipment
- Operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic isolator-based aseptic filling lines
- Perform aseptic operations in clean room environments
- Prepare buffers, media, and other solutions, following written procedures and batch records
- Perform process steps in coordination with other associates, asking for help as needed to avoid performing steps without proper training or qualification
- Adhere to scheduling changes and respond appropriately
- Communicate with the supervisor regarding work orders or shifts in process parameters
- Provide input and suggestions to help improve processes
- Follow all GMP and EHS procedures
- Attend and complete all assigned training, and keep your training plan accurate and up to date
- Complete all required documentation per GMP practices
- Help keep manufacturing areas in a state of audit readiness
- Perform production operations following written SOPs and batch records in accordance with GMPs
- Conduct business responsibly and in compliance with applicable state, FDA, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications 0–2 years of experience in a GMP environment, or proven ability in an approved laboratory under minimal supervision, preferred; associate's or bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline, or equivalent GMP experience OR
3–4 years of experience in a GMP environment, or proven ability in an approved laboratory under minimal supervision, preferred; bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline, or equivalent GMP experience
A degree in another discipline, or the absence of a degree, may be considered if sufficient technical depth has been achieved through professional experience.
Additional Requirements- Understanding of basic FDA cGMP regulations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic software application skills (Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to follow detailed processing instructions
- Ability to accurately complete all necessary documentation
- Satisfactory audio-visual acuity
- Ability to read and write English
- Familiarity with technical issues in the assigned area
- Ability to work shifts covering a 24/7 operation, including off hours as applicable
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs
