Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
Experience working in a biotechnology, biologics, pharmaceutical, or biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with upstream manufacturing, including mammalian cell culture, bioreactors, media preparation, and aseptic techniques.
Working knowledge of cGMP regulations and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Experience following batch records and manufacturing procedures.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with single-use bioreactor systems.
Familiarity with process monitoring and manufacturing support systems.
Previous experience producing biologics, monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, or cell-based products.
Key Responsibilities
Perform upstream manufacturing activities in accordance with cGMP regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Operate and monitor bioreactors and supporting equipment.
Prepare media, buffers, and process solutions.
Perform aseptic processing and maintain sterile manufacturing practices.
Execute manufacturing batch records accurately and completely.
Monitor manufacturing processes and document production activities.
Assist with equipment setup, cleaning, sanitization, and maintenance.
Identify and communicate process deviations while supporting investigations and corrective actions.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Process Development, and Engineering teams to ensure successful production.
Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
