Manufacturing Automation Engineer
Fullerton, CA

Qualifications:
  • BS in Engineering
  • 3+ years as an Automation Engineer in a manufacturing environment (Aerospace preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and integration using Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Allen-Bradley, robotics, machine vision systems, and automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks for tooling/fixture design and equipment layout review.
  • Basic programming and scripting experience with languages such as Python and C++ for automation support, data analysis, equipment interfacing, and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement automated and semi-automated manufacturing solutions across multiple product lines, including fluids and electro-mechanical hardware.
  • Work with both assembly and machining operations to develop unique solutions and customize existing available equipment for multi-disciplinary manufacturing.
  • Lead cross-functional projects, coordinate vendors, manage timelines, and resolve potential production issues.
