Job Title: Manufacturing Automation Engineer Mechanical
Location: Johns Creek, GA

We are seeking a Manufacturing Automation Engineer Mechanical with a Bachelor s degree in Engineering and strong experience in mechanical automation and machine design. The candidate must be proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, with strong knowledge of drafting, machine shop practices, tooling, fixtures, and mechanical assemblies. Experience designing automation systems and selecting components such as Pick & Place units, grippers, vision systems, bowl feeders, sensors, load cells, and LVDTs is required. Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical devices, PLC I/O, and machine sequencing is preferred. Responsibilities include engineering calculations, creating detailed drawings and BOMs, reviewing designs for OSHA/CE compliance, and supporting manufacturing and fabrication activities. The role will also provide installation, commissioning, debugging, and integration support while working closely with machinists, fabricators, electricians, programmers, vendors, customers, and engineering teams. Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, leadership, and organizational skills are required, with the ability to independently manage design tasks with minimal supervision.
