Manufacturing Bioprocess Technician I

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Bioprocess Manufacturing Technician  for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Oceanside, CA. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

• Pay Rate starts at $22.00 Per Hour with multiple shift differentials 
• 1 Year contract 
• Operate automated manufacturing equipment following SOPs and cGMP requirements.
• Perform bioprocess operations including raw material preparation, cell culture, purification, chromatography, buffer/media preparation, and environmental monitoring.
• Maintain accurate batch records and manufacturing documentation.
• Operate and clean production equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Identify and escalate deviations or non-routine manufacturing issues.
• Candidates must be able to work any of the following manufacturing shifts: 10 hr Day Shift, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm Sunday - Wednesday Wednesday - Saturday 10 hr Swing Shift, 3:30 pm -2:00 am Sunday - Wednesday Wednesday - Saturday Onboarding will consist of a 3-4 week schedule of Monday thru Friday 8am - 5pm followed by on the job training on the respective shift schedule.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's, Bachelor's, or Biotechnology certificate preferred.
• Experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, GMP, or cleanroom environments preferred.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique, cell culture, chromatography, purification, or buffer/media preparation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with automated systems and computer-based manufacturing platforms.
• Ability to work day or swing 10-hour shifts, overtime as needed, stand for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs.
