Manufacturing - Buyer - Sunrise, FL

We are seeking a Buyer to support purchasing and procurement activities for a dynamic manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for sourcing materials and services, managing supplier relationships, maintaining inventory availability, and ensuring on-time delivery to support production requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with planning, production, quality, warehousing, and finance teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day relationships with suppliers, including order placement, communication of demand changes, and issue resolution.
• Issue purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of materials.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate with planning and production teams to prevent shortages and disruptions.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and supplier agreements to achieve cost and performance objectives.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier data, and delivery information within the ERP system.
• Support supplier performance evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and industry requirements.
• Partner with Accounts Payable, Planning, and Warehouse teams to maintain ERP accuracy and business continuity.
• Contribute to purchasing strategy development and process improvements.

Profile

Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Materials Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Highly organised with strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritisation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
