Ready to turn complex production goals into clockwork execution?

Imagine walking the floor at shift start: every station is prepared, operators know the plan, and safety and quality are non-negotiable. A machine flags an alert—you coordinate maintenance, reallocate labor, and keep output on track. Later, you debrief with Engineering on a new process handoff, capture lessons learned, and update the next shift. That’s impact at CelLink.

Role Focus

Lead a production team to deliver safe, high-quality, and efficient results in a high-volume environment. Build engagement, mentor talent, and drive continuous improvement that sticks.

Core Responsibilities

  • Guide daily departmental workflow to ensure seamless production aligned with safety practices and standardized instructions.
  • Triage delays quickly, investigate root causes, and safeguard shipping timelines.
  • Use labor resources wisely to match operational strategy.
  • Complete required reporting and data entry; interpret production records to inform decisions.
  • Coach, counsel, and evaluate team members; manage discipline and termination consistent with company policy.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to maximize uptime.
  • Partner with Operations, Process Engineering, Equipment & Controls, and Project Management to transfer tools, processes, documentation, and training into Manufacturing.
  • Communicate effectively with other shifts to maintain continuity.
  • Uphold quality systems and culture; lead root-cause analysis and track corrective actions to closure.
  • Assist with budget development and maintain electronic files.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly workspace and comply with safety and environmental requirements.
  • Embody CelLink’s values: integrity, teamwork, self-discipline, and professional competence.

Growth & Culture

Develop new team members, support process development, and expand your impact by driving Lean, 5S, and Six Sigma practices. Your leadership will elevate performance and create a learning culture across shifts.

Schedule & Environment

  • Weekend night shifts (5:45 PM to 6:00 AM) on a 4/3 AWS Shift Schedule.
  • Office on the manufacturing floor; frequent floor presence required.
  • Schedules may include AWS, extended shifts, weekends, and additional hours as business needs evolve; travel to CelLink sites, vendors, or customers may be required.
  • Manufacturing environment with periodic exposure to high noise, moving parts, nuisance dust, and common industrial chemicals; PPE provided and required where applicable.
  • Physical requirements: prolonged standing/walking; bending and varied postures; lift up to 35 lbs independently or 50 lbs with assistance; visual acuity for documents, equipment operation, and inspections.
  • PPE may include safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, gloves, hair nets, masks, and clean-room frocks. Ear plugs are recommended in high-noise areas meeting OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing; 3+ years leading production teams in high-volume operations.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication; strong organization and follow-through.
  • Detail-oriented and results-focused with strong problem-solving skills; able to balance strategic, business, and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and implement improvements.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Judgment, tact, and diplomacy with internal/external customers; self-motivated and flexible.
  • Experience selecting/developing talent; supporting process development and equipment maintenance.
  • Plus: familiarity with 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma.
  • Proficiencies: supervisory experience, GMP, machine setups for production runs, and experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technology: Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
