Manufacturing Cell Operations Supervisor

Step into the night shift and set the tone for safe, efficient, and high-quality production. As the Night Shift Production Supervisor, you’ll guide a team through Monday–Friday operations, with weekend overtime as business needs arise. Your leadership keeps the line moving, the team supported, and standards uncompromised.

A day (night) in the role

As your shift begins, you review schedules, check staffing, and verify that safety checks and GMP practices are in place. You walk the floor, coach operators, align resources, and clear obstacles. When issues surface, you troubleshoot quickly and coordinate with maintenance. You close the night with documentation and performance updates—leaving the area clean, organized, and ready for the next team.

What you’ll lead

• Provide direct supervision and support to production employees throughout the shift.
• Champion safety, quality, and production standards—every run, every time.
• Track performance, complete shift paperwork, and maintain accurate records.
• Train and coach team members on SOPs, safety practices, and role-specific tasks.
• Plan staffing and allocate equipment/resources to meet production schedules.
• Diagnose process issues; partner with maintenance to resolve quickly.
• Keep the work area clean, orderly, and compliant with company policies.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Manufacturing/production experience (preferred).
• Leadership or supervisory background (preferred).
• Clear communication, strong problem-solving, and solid organizational skills.
• Comfort with basic computer applications.

Physical demands & environment

• Stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
• Work safely around industrial equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as business requires.

Schedule

Night shift, Monday–Friday; weekend overtime as needed to support business demands.

Core proficiencies

• Leadership and people management; coaching and mentoring experience.
• Continuous improvement, lean manufacturing principles, and production optimization.
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Preventive maintenance and inspection; basic maintenance and repair skills.
• ERP/MRP familiarity; production planning and scheduling expertise.
• Strong scheduling experience and follow-through.
