Quick Facts

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate daily work across operators to meet plan and takt.
  • Perform setups, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to remove bottlenecks.
  • Run equipment as needed to maintain flow and meet customer demand.
  • Record production data accurately and on time; keep visual boards current.
  • Communicate clearly during shift handoffs; escalate issues with context and data.
  • Shift labor to cover gaps, respond to changes, and optimize output.
  • Audit materials, in-process parts, and machines against quality criteria.
  • Initiate kaizen ideas that reduce waste, defects, and changeover time.
  • Train teammates on work instructions, blueprint interpretation, and safe practices.
  • Provide direction to the Forming team and offer technical guidance on the floor.
  • Support timekeeping accuracy and help address performance concerns as needed.
  • Gather and share KPIs—throughput, scrap, downtime—to drive action.
  • Uphold Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements in every task.

What you bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade/technical schooling preferred.
  • 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience.
