Summary:
The Manufacturing Control Analyst is responsible for coordinating all work-order activities to ensure proper inventory levels and labor allocation. This role monitors the accuracy of production reporting, investigates discrepancies, and ensures all transactions are completed correctly and on time.
Functions Of The Position:
Release work orders according to the daily production schedule and print required case and pallet ID labels.
Review and analyze inventory data to verify accurate production reporting. Identify issues, communicate them to management, and ensure scanning transactions and corrections are completed promptly.
Investigate quantity discrepancies between physical stock, documentation, and system records (WMS/QAD).
Run work-order variance reports, calculate variance percentages, investigate variances outside acceptable limits, and make necessary corrections.
Perform data entry, report labor, and close work orders in QAD.
Monitor and follow work-cell scheduling reports, communicate issues to the scheduler, and respond to emails professionally and promptly.
Create, prioritize, and distribute WMS work-order demands.
Audit production locations and make corrections based on the appropriate adjustment type (receipts, production used, production return, scrap, samples, cycle count). Create or modify work orders and pick lists as needed.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two or more years of experience in inventory control or manufacturing.

Skills & Competencies
Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
Strong computer skills, including Outlook, WMS, and Excel.
Solid math aptitude, including percentages and unit-of-measure conversions.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
