Job Details
Manufacturing Controller | Fairview, PA
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day manufacturing accounting and maintain accurate financial records.
- Lead month-end and year-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, work in process and production variances.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for plant operations.
- Maintain internal controls and support audits and compliance with accounting standards.
- Partner with production and business leadership to identify cost trends and improve financial visibility.
- Improve accounting processes and reporting through effective use of ERP systems and Excel.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of manufacturing accounting experience is REQUIRED.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting and financial reporting in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, budgeting and variance analysis.
- Proficiency with Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical ability and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior Controller, Assistant Controller or Accounting Manager experience in manufacturing.
- Experience in plastics manufacturing or extrusion.
