Alliance Laundry Systems is a successful, fast-paced manufacturer where integrity, clear direction, and a supportive team set you up for success. We’re seeking a Manufacturing Controls and Electromechanical Technician on second shift to keep our equipment running at peak performance.

Role Highlights

  • Troubleshoot and repair PLC, electrical, and electronic control systems.
  • Diagnose hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and restore function promptly.
  • Install controls and wiring from schematics/blueprints; complete layouts for new services (panels, breakers, conduit).
  • Mount and wire motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures per diagram specifications.
  • Dismantle machinery to replace defective parts such as brushes and armatures.
  • Inspect installed electrical equipment for hazards and make required adjustments or replacements using proper test instruments.
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions; log tasks and parts in the CMMS.
  • Leverage knowledge of electrical power and water distribution; perform basic mechanical repairs.
  • Perform duties of lower classifications when needed and occasionally direct their work.
  • Execute a variety of assignments as directed by the Group Leader.

Schedule & Compensation

  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 p.m.–1:00 a.m.
  • Hourly: $36.79–$41.03 (DOE/Qualifications).
  • Sign-On: $5,000 upon successful hiring.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two-year Associate degree plus 2–4 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency with computers to look up parts and enter work into a CMMS.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Physical & Pre-Employment

  • Standing long period, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending.
  • Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Compliance:Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check
