Manufacturing Controls EngineerLocation: Oakdale, PA
Status: Full-time direct hire
Compensation: $90,000 to $110,000
Experience: Bachelors Degree in Engineering with 3+ years of experience in the industry
REQUIREMENTS
- Develop, modify, and maintain PLC logic for manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot controls, electrical, and mechanical issues impacting production
- Support and integrate CNC machines and machining centers
- Perform machine startups, retrofits, and minor system upgrades
- Diagnose issues related to sensors, actuators, VFDs, servos, HMIs, and I/O
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Production to minimize downtime on mechanical, CNC and PLC controlled equipment
- Support mechanical improvements, including fixturing, pneumatics, hydraulics, and machine modifications
- Support machine safety improvements and compliance with plant safety standards
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering discipline
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Handson experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Experience working directly on production equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills
- Comfortable working independently in a smallteam environment
Preferred Qualifications - Exposure to CNC programming or CNC machine integration
- Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and motion systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
