Manufacturing Coordinator

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Coordinator is to provide coordination and administrative support to the production team by helping keep schedules, documentation, job status, and communication organized. This role would not be expected to independently manage production decisions or resolve complex shop issues. Instead, the focus would be on supporting the Production Managers and Supervisors by keeping information accurate, tracking progress, identifying potential issues, and escalating concerns to the appropriate person when needed.
 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining production schedules, work orders, and job documentation.
  • Updating production records, spreadsheets, and ERP information.
  • Tracking job progress and communicating updates.
  • Coordinating drawings and required paperwork.
  • Communicating with production, inventory, and shipping teams.
  • Verifying materials and documentation are available before jobs move forward.
  • Identifying missing information, material shortages, or delays and escalating them to leadership.
  • Assisting with inventory tracking and production reporting..
 

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
