Manufacturing Cost Accountant - Process Improvement

Cost Accountant We are looking for a Cost Accountant that has experience within a manufacturing environment Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field2-5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing or similar environmentExperience with QuickBooks Enterprise and/or QuickBooks OnlineStrong understanding of manufacturing cost structures and inventory accountingExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and handle multiple prioritiesLong-term stability with a growing manufacturing organizationDirect access to leadership and opportunity to improve processesResponsibilities:This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with strong cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within metal fabrication, who enjoys improving processes, strengthening controls, and partnering with leadershipPrepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and monthly financial statementsManage accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processesEnsure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirementsMaintain, analyze, and improve accounting records and financial reportsReconcile bank accounts and prepare cash flow reportsImplement rules-based automation for accounting systems, bank reconciliations, and approvalsReview, enhance, and maintain internal controls for AR, AP, Payroll, Inventory, and PurchasingReview and maintain the Chart of Accounts and implement company-wide accounting processesPrepare and submit tax filings, including sales/use tax and corporate income tax returnsAnalyze financial statements to identify discrepancies, trends, and improvement opportunitiesCollaborate with management to support operational and financial decision-making#J-18808-Ljbffr
