You translate requirements into clear shop drawings, anticipate production challenges before they occur, and collaborate with engineering, design, and project management to deliver premium, buildable solutions.

Your impact

• Craft exact 3D models and detailed drawings in Autodesk Inventor that guide manufacturing.
• Prepare shop drawings, assemblies, and part-level details tailored to production workflows.
• Work hand-in-hand with engineers, designers, and PMs to convert design intent into practical plans.
• Iterate quickly—accept feedback, revise models, and update documentation.
• Apply and uphold company and industry drafting standards consistently.
• Maintain organized records: models, drawings, and project files are always current and accessible.
• Conduct thorough quality checks to confirm accuracy, completeness, and specification alignment.
• Spot risks early—design or manufacturing—and recommend smart, workable fixes.
• Champion continuous improvement of drafting processes, templates, and standards.
• Stay ahead of the curve with new capabilities in Autodesk Inventor and complementary tools.

About you

• Autodesk Inventor 3D proficiency is required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related area preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing or millwork drafting is a strong plus.
• Deep understanding of mechanical design fundamentals and technical drawing conventions.
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational discipline.
• Proven ability to balance multiple projects and hit deadlines.
• Clear communicator and effective collaborator.
