The Manufacturing Engineer, Electrical/Electronics will support day-to-day manufacturing operations in a high mix, low volume production environment with a strong focus on electronic components, assemblies, testing, troubleshooting, and process performance. This role requires a hands-on electrical engineering background, strong problem-solving capability, and the ability to partner closely with production, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve operational execution.This position will play a key role in supporting production flow, strengthening troubleshooting capability across the site, improving first pass yield, supporting on time delivery, and driving process improvement and standardization in an electronics heavy manufacturing environment.In this role you will: Support daily manufacturing and production operations for electronics-based products, assemblies, and test processesTroubleshoot production issues related to electronic components, circuit boards, sensors, wiring, test equipment, and manufacturing processesProvide hands on support to operators, technicians, and production teams to resolve issues quickly and effectivelyAnalyze production defects, test failures, and process variation to identify root cause and implement sustainable corrective actionsSupport testing, validation, and evaluation of electronic components and assemblies within the production environmentDrive process improvement initiatives focused on first pass yield, on time delivery, quality, efficiency, and repeatabilityDevelop, improve, and standardize manufacturing processes, work instructions, test procedures, and troubleshooting guidesPartner with quality, design engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to support product builds, issue resolution, and continuous improvementHelp strengthen the site's overall troubleshooting capability by coaching teams, improving diagnostic methods, and building practical problem solving standardsSupport new product introduction, product transfers, engineering changes, and manufacturing readiness activitiesIdentify opportunities to improve production flow, reduce rework, eliminate waste, and improve overall operational performanceMaintain clear technical documentation to support production, quality, training, and long term process controlUse data from production, testing, quality, and delivery performance to prioritize improvement efforts and measure resultsRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required2 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, production engineering, test engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical roleHands on experience supporting a manufacturing or production environmentStrong electrical and electronics troubleshooting skills, including the ability to diagnose issues with components, assemblies, wiring, circuit boards, and test systemsExperience working with electronic components, electromechanical assemblies, sensors, controls, or industrial electronicsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, test procedures, and engineering documentationExperience supporting test processes, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and production issue resolutionStrong problem solving skills with a practical, hands on approach to manufacturing supportExperience driving process improvement, standardization, and operational performance improvementsAbility to work effectively across production, quality, engineering, and operations teamsStrong communication and documentation skillsAbility to operate in a fast paced, high mix, low volume manufacturing environmentPreferred Qualifications: Experience in an electronics heavy manufacturing environmentExperience with industrial measurement, sensing, instrumentation, controls, or automation productsFamiliarity with lean manufacturing, standard work, visual management, and structured problem solving methodsExperience supporting first pass yield, on time delivery, rework reduction, and production flow improvementsExperience with test equipment, fixtures, troubleshooting tools, and production test methodsExperience supporting new product introduction, engineering changes, or product transfers into productionFamiliarity with ERP, MES, quality systems, or production data analysis toolsExperience coaching operators or technicians on troubleshooting methods and process standardsSuccess in this role looks like: Production issues are resolved quickly and with clear root cause understandingTroubleshooting capability improves across the site, not just within engineeringProcesses become more standardized, repeatable, and documentedFirst pass yield improves through better diagnostics, corrective actions, and process controlOn time delivery is supported through faster issue resolution and stronger production readinessCross functional teams have clear technical support and practical solutions that improve daily executionWe Are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
