Can you keep a plant powered, precise, and production‑ready?
If reading prints, tracing faults across 120–480V systems, and bringing equipment back online sounds like your kind of challenge, you’ll fit right in. You’ll blend hands-on electrical work with problem solving, documentation, and mentoring—always with safety and code compliance at the forefront.
Your impact
Own the construction, installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance of electrical and pneumatic equipment and services across our plant and grounds.
Tackle big projects—main and unit substations, transformers, bus ducts, and control panels—delivered in compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes.
Use schematics, prints, and written instructions to isolate electrical causes of machine issues; replace failed components to restore performance.
Draft quick sketches/diagrams and partner with designers/management to create, build, and commission special devices and custom electrical equipment.
Perform basic electronic troubleshooting per prescribed steps, swapping modules and circuit boards where needed.
Execute preventive maintenance and periodic operational checks; test and replace thermocouples to maintain process stability.
Operate powered mobile equipment to move, place, or repair machinery and components.
Keep accurate schedules, progress notes, and logs; wear respiratory protection when required.
Pitch in with facility needs—load/unload trucks, replace lamps, and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
Coach and direct less experienced tradespersons or helpers, sharing what you know.
Follow company policies while meeting safety and environmental regulations at all times.
Your background
A.A.S. degree or Certificate from an accredited electrical trade school and successful completion of job-related skills assessments.
4 years of experience in an industrial or equivalent setting.
Ability to pass visual, hearing, and physical tests; complete Powered Industrial Truck Operator training per standard policy; and meet color-vision requirements.
Shift pattern will be set based on business need once you successfully complete the electrician training program.
If you haven’t reached journeyman status, you’ll train under a more skilled electrician until all required training is successfully completed.
