Title : Manufacturing Engineer 3
Location: Everett, WA- Onsite
Salary Range: $60 to $65/hr on W2 - To be determined based on experience and qualifications
Contract Duration : 6+ months
Introduction
We are seeking Manufacturing Engineers to join our production teams. The successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with engineering teams and mechanics on the factory floor.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
- Experience working in an engineering discipline
- Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies
- Participate as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions
- Work with others to develop, identify, and implement conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build
- Assist in implementing manufacturing plans
- Resolve technical problems and assist in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies, and concepts
- Assist in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies
- Interface with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs, and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge, and experience
- Spend up to 8 hours on feet standing/walking on the production floor
- Climb ladders or stairs to access equipment or airplane sections
- Work at heights or in tight spaces
- Wear required PPE
