This role develops, optimizes, and supports assembly and test processes for high‑reliability aerospace products. You'll collaborate across engineering, quality, and operations to deliver safe, repeatable, and efficient production from concept through ramp-up. The company is looking for a proven operations leader to help take their Assembly & Test performance to the next level.Description Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, instructions, and tooling for assembly and test operations.Support new product introduction initiatives from early design through production readiness.Partner with engineering teams to drive design for manufacturability and testability.Build and validate assembly sequences, routings, and process controls.Troubleshoot production issues directly on the shop floor.Lead or support investigations and corrective actions for nonconformances.Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, yield, cost, and throughput.Support functional, environmental, and acceptance testing activities.Maintain process documentation, including FMEAs, control plans, and risk analyses.Ensure alignment with aerospace standards and internal quality procedures.Participate in tooling selection, equipment justification, and capital improvement efforts.Interface with quality teams during audits and product acceptance processes. Profile Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field or 7+ years equivalent experience.2-4 years of experience in manufacturing or production; aerospace or high‑reliability products preferred.Understanding of mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical assembly and test operations.Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specs, and test documentation.Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities.Preferred: experience in aerospace assembly/test, exposure to AS9100/ISO/FAA requirements, knowledge of ERP/MES systems, and proficiency with root‑cause analysis methods.
