    Description

    We are currently hiring a Manufacturing Engineer (Lean Champion) Aerospace industry with metal fabrication.

    Location: Corona, CA

    Summary

    Responsible for improving manufacturing processes, driving Lean initiatives, and optimizing production efficiency, quality, and cost.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures
    • Analyze workflows, layouts, and workforce utilization for efficiency
    • Conduct product testing, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
    • Collaborate with engineering, sales, suppliers, and vendors
    • Maintain manufacturing documentation and systems
    • Estimate production time, labor, and costs

    Lean Leadership

    • Lead Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives
    • Conduct audits and ensure AS9100 compliance
    • Train and mentor employees on Lean principles
    • Drive continuous improvement projects (cycle time, productivity, inventory)
    • Act as a change agent to embed Lean culture

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of Lean/Continuous Improvement experience
    • Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
    • Experience with Lean tools (VSM, 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, SMED)
    • Basic CAD skills
    • Strong analytical and communication skills
    • Aerospace industry is a must.

    Education

    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
