This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys troubleshooting manufacturing equipment, optimizing automated processes, improving equipment reliability, and partnering with operations to increase productivity and quality. The Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives while supporting new manufacturing technologies.ResponsibilitiesSupport and improve automated manufacturing equipment and production processes.Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, PLC-controlled systems, and automation-related issues.Identify opportunities to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), productivity, and manufacturing efficiency.Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions for equipment and manufacturing process failures.Work with maintenance and operations teams to minimize equipment downtime.Support new equipment installations, commissioning, and process validation.Develop and improve manufacturing work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.Support Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) related to manufacturing equipment and production processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new manufacturing technologies and automation improvements.Monitor manufacturing KPIs and identify opportunities for process optimization.Ensure manufacturing equipment complies with quality and safety standards.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.5 years of Manufacturing Engineering or Automation Engineering experience.Experience supporting PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.Experience programming or troubleshooting PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, or Beckhoff.Experience troubleshooting automated production systems.Understanding of industrial automation concepts including sensors, actuators, HMIs, drives, and control systems.Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.Ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.Preferred QualificationsHMI development or troubleshooting experience.Experience supporting robotics or automated assembly equipment.Knowledge of industrial networking (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus).Servo motion control experience.Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.Experience in aerospace, defense, electronics, or regulated manufacturing environments.Why Engineers Join This OrganizationHighly collaborative engineering culture where automation projects receive strong leadership support.Engineers have ownership over process improvements and automation initiatives.Long-term career advancement into Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Automation Engineer, Controls Engineer, or Engineering Leadership positions.Excellent benefits package including a Performance Bonus and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), allowing employees to directly benefit from the company's long-term success.Stable organization with continued investment in manufacturing technology and automation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
