Description

Manufacturing Engineer

Why You'll Want This Opportunity

  • Join a highly respected precision manufacturer with over 70 years of success, known for investing in cutting-edge technology and building long-term careers.

  • Work in a clean, modern manufacturing environment producing complex, tight-tolerance components for some of the most demanding industries.

  • Take ownership of projects that directly impact manufacturing efficiency, machining strategy, and overall operational performance.

  • Collaborate with experienced machinists, programmers, engineers, and leadership in a culture that values teamwork, continuous improvement, and innovation.

  • Be part of an organization that invests in advanced CNC equipment, automation, and the latest manufacturing technologies rather than simply maintaining the status quo.

We're seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys solving manufacturing challenges, improving machining processes, and bridging the gap between engineering and production. This role is ideal for someone who wants to be heavily involved in both SolidWorks design work and Mastercam programming, while driving continuous improvements across the shop floor.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay: $115,000-$120,000, depending on experience

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift

  • Opportunity: Full-time, permanent position with long-term career growth

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design and modify fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing solutions using SolidWorks.

  • Develop and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for a variety of machining centers.

  • Improve machining processes by reducing cycle times, increasing efficiency, and improving overall manufacturability.

  • Collaborate closely with machinists, quality, engineering, and production to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and implement process improvements.

  • Support new product introductions by developing manufacturing methods, tooling, work instructions, and production documentation.

  • Evaluate machining methods, tooling strategies, and fixture designs to improve quality, throughput, and consistency.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, productivity, quality, and cost reduction.

What We're Looking For

  • Manufacturing Engineering experience within a CNC machining or precision manufacturing environment.

  • Strong proficiency with SolidWorks.

  • Experience programming CNC equipment using Mastercam.

  • Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, fixtures, GD&T, and manufacturing best practices.

  • Experience supporting production through process improvements and technical problem solving.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally throughout manufacturing operations.

  • A hands-on engineer who enjoys spending time on the manufacturing floor and collaborating directly with production teams.

You should be proficient in:

  • GD&T
  • CNC Programming
  • CAD Software
  • G-Code
  • CAD/CAM Software

Machines & technologies you'll use:

  • CAM Software (Mastercam)
