Job Description:

Industry Background:

·         Experience in high-volume manufacturing within a Tier 1 automotive environment. Tier 1 automotive suppliers operate with tight margins and aggressive schedules, which demands manufacturing and industrial excellence.

Core Competencies:

·         Manufacturing Process Development: Ability to define, design, and deliver manufacturing processes for complex assembly products — from conceptual phase through full production scale-up.

·         Process Engineering Fundamentals: Strong command of PFD (Process Flow Diagrams), time studies, line balancing, and P-FMEA.

·         Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Capable of analyzing product designs and providing actionable DFM recommendations.

·         GD&T: Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing and its application in manufacturing.

·         Equipment & Vendor Management: Capable of writing technical specifications and managing vendors through full equipment commissioning.

·         Industrial KPIs: Strong understanding of operational metrics — OEE, MTTR, MTBF, cycle time, throughput, yield, etc.

·         Digital Manufacturing: Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and digital manufacturing principles.

Scope of Ownership:

·         End-to-end manufacturing development lifecycle: concept → process design → validation → ramp → full production
