Job Title:Manufacturing Engineer Work Schedule:Onsite - Buffalo, NY Our team in Military Aircraft is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer to join them. You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Technical Lead and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY As a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer, you'll be at the forefront of bothnew product developmentandcontinuous improvementof existing manufacturing processes. You'll work hands-on with high precision parts, applying advanced CNC programming and machining knowledge to solve challenges and optimize performance. As a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer, you will: * Create detailed operation sheets and CNC programs to produce high-precision machined parts and sub-assemblies. * Define manufacturing sequences, tooling, gauging, and machine requirements to streamline production. * Work closely with engineering, quality, production, and vendors to resolve issues and enhance manufacturability. * Be hands-on in the production environment, assisting with program prove-outs and troubleshooting. * Recommend and implement process enhancements, tooling upgrades, and design modifications. * Assist in estimating costs and timelines for new proposals and tooling development. To be considered for this role, typically you'll bring: * ABachelor's degreein a technical field with3+ yearsof relevant professional experience, or anAssociate degreewith6+ yearsof relevant professional experience, or aHigh School Diploma/GEDwith8+ yearsof proven professional experience * 3+ CNC programmingexperience using CAD/CAM software. * Strong knowledge ofprocess engineeringfrom raw material to finished product. * Hands-on experience withmachine setup and operation. * Excellent communication and documentation skills to work effectively across departments.
