Position Summary: Manufacturing Engineer
Our client is seeking a manufacturing engineer who can creatively apply engineering knowledge to efficiently solve complex manufacturing problems to support the production of sensors in the Engines and Space product portfolio. This position will require interfacing with other manufacturing engineers, production leaders, maintenance, purchasing, quality, production operators, design engineers and program management. The challenges and opportunities are unlimited for this position. This is an onsite role that will put you right where the action is!
Responsibilities: Manufacturing Engineer
Work directly with manufacturing engineers to provide support to production operators and technicians in the form of fixture design and work instructions.
Design fixtures in CAD, create engineering drawings and properly document and release the fixtures. Primarily focused on creating fixtures used for welding and brazing.
Become proficient in key operations software such as SAP, Creo, and Teamcenter.
Adapts machine or equipment design to conform to standard factory and production procedures.
Provides guidance for engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
Properly document and report your work.

Ability to communicate effectively with a given target audience
Ability to collaborate with other engineers and support functions
Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite programs
Fluency in CREO or other CAD modeling software
Bias for action and a strong work ethic
