Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop process documentation that ensures robust manufacture of high‑pressure die cast structural component finishing operations.Ensure effective timeline management to meet program milestones and monitor deliverables with process engineers.Maintain Open Issues lists and resolve concerns timely.Communicate customer‑driven changes to ensure cast parts are built to proper product revision levels.Promote line adherence to the latest version of the Kamtek Equipment Build Standards.Show awareness of customer requirements and provide product knowledge.Operate technologies used in development and build of automated assembly lines.Participate in quoting new products, selecting suitable methods considering volume and quality requirements.Organize deployment of available resources effectively.Demonstrate presentation skills for customer and supplier interfaces.Conduct manpower efficiency studies, time and motion studies, or standard data to balance manpower and machine.Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes.Perform other duties as required.Physical DemandsAbility to lift up to 40 pounds; stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods.Equipment and Tools UsedComputer, telephone, copier/printer, fax machine, and a range of basic hand tools.Knowledge, Education and TrainingEducation : High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent.Technical Training : CNC machining and programming (M&G Code, Macro, Siemens Controls); robots and automation (Fanuc); CAD or CAD‑viewer experience; robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical controls engineering; standard fabrication knowledge.Computer Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Work ExperienceManufacturing experience with CNC equipment in a die‑cast environment; minimum of three years.Additional SkillsGood interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and leadership skillsEffective troubleshooting and root‑cause analysisDetail orientedExcellent time management skillsEqual Employment Opportunity StatementAt Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
