We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to enhance our production processes. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing CNC programs, optimizing machining operations, and driving cost-effective solutions. Your expertise in CAD/CAM software and shop floor manufacturing will directly impact our efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement CNC programs to meet production requirements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot machining issues, providing expert assistance to machine operators to minimize downtime.

  • Design and generate tooling orders, collaborating with tool designers to create effective fixturing solutions.

  • Collaborate with product engineering to resolve quality, manufacturing, and design challenges, improving overall product integrity.

  • Lead initiatives to reduce scrap and rework costs by identifying and eliminating root causes.

  • Promote a safe work environment by monitoring safety problems and implementing corrective actions.

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9000 requirements, maintaining high standards of quality and process control.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with a focus on manufacturing processes and shop floor control.

  • Proficiency in graphics-based CNC programming and computer-assisted route sheet generation.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex manufacturing issues.

  • Expertise in CAD/CAM software.

  • Experience with CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Fanuc, Mazak, Okuma, Doosan, Bridgeport, Dmg Mori Seiki).

  • Experience with CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) (Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Dmg Mori Seiki).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) (Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Dmg Mori Seiki).

  • Experience with CNC Lathe (5+ axis) (Mazak, Okuma, Doosan, Dmg Mori Seiki).

  • Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.

  • Proficiency in CAM Software (Mastercam, GibbsCAM, Mazatrol, Autodesk Fusion 360).
