    Description

Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who thrives at the intersection of engineering, production, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on opportunity to play a key role in bringing highly engineered industrial equipment from concept through production, installation, and long-term support. You'll collaborate across engineering, operations, supply chain, and service teams to develop efficient manufacturing processes, improve product quality, and support the successful launch of new equipment.

If you enjoy solving complex manufacturing challenges, working closely with production teams, and making a measurable impact on product quality and manufacturing efficiency, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment.

    Location: Onsite

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for precision mechanical components and complete machine assemblies to improve quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
    • Partner with design engineering to ensure products are designed for manufacturability, assembly, and long-term serviceability.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, supply chain, service, and suppliers to support project execution and on-time delivery.
    • Provide hands-on manufacturing support during prototype builds, production launches, and new product introductions (NPI).
    • Troubleshoot manufacturing, machining, and assembly issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
    • Design and develop custom fixtures, tooling, and assembly aids that improve productivity, reduce setup time, and enhance repeatability.
    • Support production teams with engineering guidance while driving continuous process improvements on the manufacturing floor.
    • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including:
      • Work Instructions
      • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
      • Assembly documentation
      • Manufacturing process documentation
      • User manuals
      • Operating guides

    • Assist service teams in resolving equipment issues and supporting field repairs.
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, waste reduction, and manufacturing excellence.
    • Travel occasionally to customer or supplier locations as business needs require (minimal travel).

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
    • 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience within CNC machining, machine building, precision manufacturing, or similar industrial environments.
