Manufacturing Engineer- CNC Programmer- Defense

• Program and optimize complex 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machining operations for large-scale precision components supporting critical defense applications.
• Develop fully associative CNC programs using Siemens NX CAM while supporting a fully integrated digital manufacturing environment.
• Validate and simulate machining processes using advanced verification tools to ensure efficiency, quality, and first-pass success.
• Collaborate with machinists, quality, engineering, and leadership teams to drive continuous process improvements and solve complex manufacturing challenges.
• Support the development of digital manufacturing standards, workflows, automation initiatives, and PLM integration efforts.
• Improve tooling strategies, machine utilization, cycle times, and overall production performance.
• Provide hands-on shop floor support during machine prove-outs, troubleshooting, first-article inspections, and process validation activities.
• Play a key role in shaping the future of manufacturing operations by helping build and enhance next-generation CNC programming and digital manufacturing systems.

A successful Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Programmer should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical discipline
• Equivalent combinations of education and significant CNC programming experience will be considered
• Strong CNC programming and manufacturing engineering background
• Experience with multi-axis machining environments
• Knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards
• Strong technical communication and documentation skills
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Confidential Security Clearance
