MANUFACTURING ENGINEER / CNC PROGRAMMER (Permanent) Our client, an established, international and well-known organization with roots in WNY (located in the South Towns), is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programmer to join their growing team. Responsibilities:
Perform hands-on responsibilities to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
Participate in new product development by creating detailed CNC Mill machine processes
Ensure processes include specific manufacturing instructions that meet rigorous engineering specifications
Clearly define tooling, gauging, machine requirements, and operation sequences to ensure accurate part fabrication
Spearhead the resolution of shop floor issues, troubleshooting and analyzing to develop timely solutions
Analyze engineering drawings and offer design improvements that will increase productivity
Participate in creating machine-ready code and remain hands-on in program implementations, improvements, and troubleshooting
Determine setup/run time estimates, as well as tooling hours; provide such information as contribution to cost estimation for new business proposals
Provide guidance and mentorship to Junior Engineering team
Work well in a team environment as well as independently
Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Details:
Position is full-time, direct hire
100% in-office
$75,000 - $115,000 annually depending on experience + sign-on bonus

3+ yearsâ experience with a Bachelorâs Degree; 6+ yearsâ experience with an Associateâs degree; 8+ yearsâ experience with a High School diploma/GED
CNC Milling Machining required (multi-axis vertical and/or horizontal machining) including set up and operation
Experience with machining a variety of materials including stainless steel, titanium, and aluminum
Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficient computer skills; experience with CAD/CAM required (Siemens NX, Mastercam, or similar)
Strong organization skills, analytical, and time management skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Self-motivated
Willingness to travel, as needed
Relocation assistance available for anyone outside of 50 miles of facility
