Job DescriptionMiller Electric's Commercial Solutions Division is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to support a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading and implementing manufacturing and facility improvements across the division, with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives, collaborate across functions, and deliver measurable results that align with business objectives.How You Will Make An ImpactUnderstand, maintain, and continuously improve manufacturing and assembly processes with an emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.Develop and maintain facility and manufacturing layouts using two-dimensional drawing software.Apply ITW Toolbox and Lean manufacturing principles to identify, justify, and lead operational improvement projects from concept through implementation.Justify, specify, and procure capital equipment and tooling to support new and existing manufacturing processes.Partner with operations leadership to develop capacity planning and contingency strategies to support divisional goals.Support divisional and company-wide initiatives, including employee involvement programs and safety action teams.Collaborate effectively with production personnel, engineering teams, and divisional leadership to ensure alignment and successful execution of initiatives.Ensure compliance with applicable government and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing operations.Work closely with all engineering disciplines to ensure new product development (NPD) processes are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with customer quality and delivery expectations.Build strong, trust-based relationships with production floor personnel by maintaining a regular presence on the shop floor, actively listening to feedback, and partnering collaboratively to identify and implement process improvements.What You Need to Do to Be Successful in This RoleDemonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrate a proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in alignment with divisional objectives.Possess a strong mechanical aptitude with hands‑on problem‑solving capability.Understand torque applications and torque design in a manufacturing environment.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.3+ years of previous manufacturing engineer experience preferred.Experience with Atlas Copco torque application tools, including pneumatic and electric systems.Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Power BI experience strongly preferred), AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks.BenefitsGenerous Retirement Benefits – 401(k) match plus an additional retirement contribution to help you plan for the future.Paid Time Off – 11 paid holidays, 5 sick days, and vacation time.Company‑Paid Insurance – Life, AD&D, short‑term & long‑term disability insurance.Family‑Friendly Benefits – 4 weeks of paid parental leave and adoption reimbursement.Education Assistance – tuition reimbursement.Equal Opportunity EmployerITW Welding is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
