    Description

    As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes that improve productivity, reduce costs, and support a safe, high-quality production environment. You'll work closely with engineering, operations, maintenance, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and support new product introductions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and improve manufacturing processes and production methods.Troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, safety, and productivity.Support new product development by providing manufacturing expertise and process recommendations.Evaluate, recommend, and implement new equipment, tooling, and manufacturing technologies.Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and engineering standards.Partner with suppliers and internal teams on equipment installation and process implementation.Create and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for manufacturing equipment.Perform cost analysis and identify opportunities to reduce labor, material, and manufacturing costs.Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and support implementation activities.Develop, monitor, and report manufacturing KPIs to drive operational performance.Position RequirementssBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent manufacturing engineering experience).3–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Experience with CAD software and ERP systems.Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, quality, and maintenance teams.Excellent communication and project management skills.Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.Experience in metals, specialty materials, or advanced manufacturing environments is highly preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
