Danville Metal Stamping Co., Inc. is hiring for entry-level Manufacturing Engineers. Manufacturing Engineers are responsible for the development of processes required to successfully fabricate aerospace engine parts.

Essential functions of the position include:

  • Develops the processes required to successfully manufacture parts to the customers’ specifications
  • Functions as the point of contact for our customers as it relates to the manufacturing of our parts
  • Resolves manufacturing process problems related to assigned part families
  • Drives process improvement initiatives related to assigned part families
  • Supports employees throughout the production processes
  • Reads and interprets blueprints
  • Uses precision measurement equipment
  • Daily use of computer and specific software programs including, but not limited to Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, IFS, Unigraphics
  • Daily communication with employees at all levels of the organization and customers
  • Sitting up to 6 hours per day
  • Walking and/or standing up to 3 hours per day
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications for the position include:

  • Prior experience and/or education in the engineering field is required
  • Proficiency with computer aided 2-D and 3-D design of complex 3-dimensional contours
  • Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes that are needed to fabricate products
  • Demonstrated dedication to understanding and applying lean manufacturing principles
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills is preferred

Compensation & Benefits Summary

  • Pay Range: $55,000-$75,000/yr.
