FULL DESCRIPTION:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- You'll design, optimize, and sustain high-precision manufacturing processes across multi-axis CNC machining centers.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and documenting robust manufacturing processes (routers, SOPs, work instructions, process flows)
- Improving cycle times, reducing scrap, and increasing throughput
- Designing and enhancing tooling, fixtures, and work holding for tight-tolerance applications
- Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) from prototype to full production
- Analyzing OEE, downtime, scrap, and yield data to drive measurable improvements
- Performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
- Leading Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Supporting capacity planning and evaluating capital equipment (CAPEX) investments
- Ensuring compliance with AS9100 and aerospace quality standards

The selected candidate will also possess:
- 2+ years in precision machining or aerospace manufacturing
- Strong CNC machining knowledge (3-5 axis preferred)
- Experience improving cycle time and increasing production efficiency
- Solid understanding of GD&T, cutting tools, and process capability
- CAD proficiency (SolidWorks preferred)
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production metrics
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- A hands-on, solutions-driven mindset
- We're especially interested in candidates with extensive, well-rounded CNC machining experience who can confidently bridge the gap between engineering and the shop floor.
Salary Range: $70k to $85k/year
