The EW Manufacturing Team is responsible for rapidly iterating and building cutting-edge defense hardware for Electromagnetic Warfare. This responsibility includes everything in the manufacturing value-chain, including, but not limited to, Design for Manufacturability work, tool design & selection, process creation & optimization, vendor sourcing & interaction, quality planning, and work documentation associated with the hardware that the Manufacturing Engineer owns. As a Manufacturing Engineer within EW, you will be responsible for driving process improvements, ensuring the highest quality of production, and supporting the development and implementation of new products. You will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes, reducing costs, and increasing efficiencies on existing technologies while also developing new products and scaling to full scale production.What You'll Do Own a portion or all of the manufacturing value chain that includes Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T) for electro-mechanical assembliesContribute to operational excellence with a strong continuous improvement mindset and leading impactful Kaizen eventsBe a strong partner with Product Quality Engineering to drive and support RCCA burndowns that tackle key issues both internally and externally to EW ProductionCollaborate with Design Engineering teams in early to late phases of the development process to provide DFx for smooth NPI transitionsDevelop process flows, breaking down large, complex assemblies into a logical part flow of subassemblies and sub-processesWrite documentation required for successfully manufacturing their hardware at scale, such as work instructions, quality plans, inspection requirements, etc.Work with contract manufacturers across various disciplines (PCBA fab, metallic manufacturing, assembly, etc.) to develop repeatable, sustained processes for quick-turn development as well as at-scale productionWork with technicians and other engineers hands-on, building prototype hardwareContribute to end-customer hardware mechanical or electrical design, including interconnects, board fabrication and inspection, etc.Required Qualifications Degree in a technical field preferred such as engineering, math, or a hard science5+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardwareDemonstrated ability to creatively deliver electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environmentDemonstrated ability to contribute to the delivery of electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environmentPersonal experience physically manufacturing hardware via any means (machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly, etc.) Work on personal or extracurricular projects is a plusPrior experience working with JIRA, Siemens NX, Teamcenter (PLM), or Oracle (ERP) or equivalentsA genuine interest in manufacturing and thirst for learningMust be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilitiesPreferred Qualifications Experience with RF Products that require system AI&T (assembly, integration, and test)Exposure to or interest in scaling product testing and productionHands-on experience with software & firmware flashing or end-of-line testing & troubleshootingSoftware scripting experience in any languageCurrent active U.S. Secret security clearanceSalary US Salary Range: $129,000 — $171,000 USDBenefits Anduril offers top-tier benefits for full-time employees, including a comprehensive benefits package available to employees.#J-18808-Ljbffr
